At Relevant Life Church, our scriptural foundation is rooted in Galatians 2:20 (CSB), which says,
“I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
This powerful verse encapsulates the essence of our ministry: a life fully surrendered to Christ, living through His love and faith.
Our core values reflect this Christ-centered life. Sacrifice is central to our walk of faith, as we are called to surrender our will to God, just as Christ surrendered Himself for us. Unity is vital in our church community, where we move from an "I" focus to a "Christ-centered" focus, dwelling together in faith and love.
Faith is foundational to everything we do, as we live by faith in Jesus Christ, accepting Him into our hearts and trusting Him with our lives. Love is at the heart of our mission; we love others because Christ first loved us, and He commands us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Finally, Generosity mirrors God’s ultimate act of generosity through Jesus’ sacrifice. We are called to extend that same generosity, led by the Holy Spirit, to those around us.
